Bio for Marie Welton

Qualifications:
1) Dance instructor for Vancouver Israeli Folk Dance Society since 1991
2) Dance instructor for the City of Surrey Parks and Recreation since 1992.
3) Attended numerous international workshops with world famous dancers.
4) Presenter for numerous workshops in dance at High Schools, Universities, Conventions and special events.
5) Dance choreographer and performer since 1988.
6) Manager/DJ/Instructor for a weekly all ages swing club in Surrey since 1998.  

Experiences:
1) Presenter for Canada Day 2000 at Canada Place
2) Trophy Winner of 2002 No Voice Semi Professional category Surrey Dance Festival.
3) Choreographer and dancer for 2006 Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem.
4) Taught lindy hop for 4 months with Myles Munroe (Canadian West Coast Swing Champion) in 2005.

5) Dance workshop presenter for Surrey Arts Council 2001 and Surrey Teachers Annual Convention 2006,2007, 2008 and 2010.
